6. Google Calendar Integration & Google User Data
Skillsheet offers an optional meeting notetaker. If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Skillsheet requests read-only access to your calendar events (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.readonly) and your Google account email address (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email). Connecting your calendar is entirely optional. You can disconnect it at any time from your account Settings, which stops Skillsheet from scheduling any further notetakers from your calendar. You can also fully revoke Skillsheet's access at any time from yourGoogle Account permissions page.
6.1 What We Access
We access only the information needed to schedule and dispatch the notetaker: your upcoming events' start and end times, titles, descriptions, video-conferencing links (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams), and attendee details. We also receive your Google account email address, which we use solely to associate the calendar connection with your Skillsheet account. Our access is read-only — we never create, edit, or delete your calendar events.
6.2 How We Use It
Google Calendar data is used solely to identify the meetings you have chosen to record and to dispatch the "Skillsheet Notetaker" to join those meetings and create a recording and transcript on your behalf. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.
6.3 How We Share It
To provide this feature we use Recall.ai, a calendar and meeting-recording infrastructure provider, as a service provider (sub-processor). Recall.ai accesses your Google Calendar data on our behalf solely to enable the notetaker and is contractually restricted from using it for any other purpose. We do not sell Google Calendar data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
6.4 Limited Use Disclosure
Skillsheet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
